About Me
I currently live in Virginia and retired from the Department of the Navy (Civilian) as the Agency Security Manager/Officer for an elite missile program. In that role, I developed and implemented security plans for headquarters personnel and national and international satellite offices to safeguard sensitive program information. Two important lessons I carry from that work are: 'Teamwork makes the dream work' and 'There's no 'I' in team.' These values continue to guide my approach to every collaboration.
Outside of work, I am a small business owner with a passion for event planning and artful decorating. I find great joy in creating warm, memorable experiences that bring people together.
This passion intensified 100% as a result of bearing witness to the joyful and delighted expressions on the faces of the PST students upon seeing unique & artful design elements created to foster warm PST Family memories and to make their hearts smile.
My favorite pastime is pondering ways to bring joy to others through selfless acts of kindness. This is demonstrated in both my personal relationships, and I hope, recognized in my volunteerism efforts with PST
At the end of the day…my prayer is to be remembered with a smile!!
My Role with Pink Space Theory
I serve as an Event Planner and Assistant Volunteer Manager. My event planning background allows me to design creative, welcoming spaces for our students and families—whether through decorations, set-ups, or thoughtful details that make every PST event memorable. I also help support our volunteers by providing time-tracking tools, sharing reminders, and sending birthday greetings to let them know how much they mean to the PST family.
Why I Volunteer with PST?
As I transitioned from my federal career, I wanted to dedicate my skills and time to something that genuinely makes a difference. PST allowed me to put kindness into action, supporting students while modeling what it means to give selflessly. My greatest hope is that our students see kindness on full display, feel unapologetically accepted for who they are, and carry those lessons into their future.
At the end of the day, I want to be remembered with a smile—and I hope that through Pink Space Theory, I help ignite our students’ imaginations and inspire them to believe with confidence: If I believe it, I can achieve it.
We each have a different role… but we all have the same job: to help the team win.
